The hotel overall is very modern and clean. Not a single part of it looked rundown or dirty in any way. You get to choose your view and any additional extras you want when checking in which is done via a self-service kiosk, but there is staff around to help if needed. You can also keep your keycard that can be reactivated for any future visits which is quite unique. As for the room, it blew me away with its modern look, and everything is controlled using an iPad that's easy to get the hang of. This includes full RGB and standard lights, a TV with the ability to cast from your phone, and automated blinds. The shower was definitely a highlight since the RGB lighting changes the colour of the frosted glass, making it a bit of a centrepiece. Like the rest of the hotel, it was spotlessly clean, had all things you could need such as soap, shampoo, towels, cups, etc. The TV and iPad also show a lovely little personalised welcome message. The Wi-Fi is also brilliant. Doesn't appear to be any limits to usage and it is available for free with your booking. Pretty speedy overall as well which was handy when sending my gig photos and videos to friends when I came back. The bar is also open 24/7 and serves a decent selection of food. I only ate there once, but the pepperoni pizza was lovely when I had it at 1 a.m, and the price was solid for a hotel at £14.50. The staff were also friendly when I was ordering. You can also use the hotel's own app for certain things such as checking in and out, checking menus, and viewing deals on future bookings. The UI is quite similar to the iPad so everything ties together. Overall, it's by far the best hotel you can get for the price. I paid £91 for a Travelodge the night before in Manchester that was horrid, but £90 for the CitizenM room on a Saturday. Really impressed by it all and will 100% come back.

29/12/2024. We had a problem with the iPad and TV . We contacted reception and almost immediately two male staff members came to the room to try and fix the problem. The two staff were extremely courteous and polite and chatted with us. They managed to move us to another room across the hall and assisted us to move things and ensure the keys for the new room were programmed and working. We got the name of one staff member called Taylor but didn't get the name of the senior staff member. Please pass on our sincere thanks to the two staff members from us in room 642 originally room 643( tech issues room). Both these guys are a credit to the hotel brand and we will definitely stay here again when in Glasgow. The reception staff were also kind and helpful and all that said we had a great trip.

CitizenM is a trendy Hotel, where you are right in the city centre of Glasgow. Near to Cineworld. Also near to some of the top restaurants . Breakfast is £17.00 but it is unlimited meaning you can eat as much as you want, coffees are also available in the price. Staff are friendly and easy to chat to. They listen and help you out. The room is also comfortable you get a ready big bed for around £100.00 . Comfy to sleep in. The room and lighting and TV is cotrolled thru an iPad that you will find located in your room and also a safe under the bed. There is also a jog pad where you can write down what you think of your stay located on the table. I liked how I was able to control the temperature of the room and also the way the lights change coloured is really cool.

The rooms are very well planned, although some minor shortcoming comes in the form of the bath area not having doors that have locks. I understand this might be a cultural thing, but when catering to all cultures it's ok to have a door that locks. The rooms are very well planned with all controls being made available through a tablet. There is a lot of personalisation in the form of welcoming an the ease of access to all things. The running water is warm and refreshing, the beds are nice too. Overall a great stay. One more thing, sincerely believe there is some work required on the elevators, the current one seems to be in dire need of servicing.

Stay here everytime we visit Glasgow and every single time we are impressed. The bed is very large and extremely comfortable, the shower is superb. Love that you control your room from an IPAD and can change the colours in the shower. The room was extremely clean and well looked after. We had the option to choose which room we would like and at what floor level giving us an option to see the courtyard or the city we always choose the city to see the lights and the views. The staff are super friendly and always have a chat with us making us feel very welcome. There isn't anywhere else we would stay and we love Citizen M. ❤️
